From March to April 2023, we spent 20 days at Bacchus Reserve to sample butterflies and moths for PHMA project. At night, a combination of New Moon and fog were perfect for record an amazing biodiversity of moths, and during the day, we hiked the trails at Bacchus and other properties close by to collect the wonderful butterfly fauna.
Bacchus Reserve is a new protected area in the Atlantic Forest of southeastern Brazil as part of the ARAÇÁ Project set up by Alexandre and Anna Antonelli.
